Every first Sunday of the month is Food Bank Sunday; however, you may donate any time during the month. If you are at the grocery store in the next few days, you can pick up a nonperishable food item or two to place in the Food Bank receptacle in the Christian Education building this Sunday. The donations go to the Mid-South Food Bank for distribution at various food pantries across our metropolitan area. Remember that poverty and food insecurity are among our biggest challenges.
