Small Group Ministry
Are you interested in a Small Group Ministry Opportunity?
- What is this small group opportunity like?
It's a group of people, usually 5-8, who covenant to meet together for a specified amount of time. Generally, small groups at CPCG
meet for about 1 1/2 hours every other week.
- What do you do when you meet?
A typical format is:
- Checking in with each other to see how things are going;
- A study of a book; and
- A period of prayer for each other and the group's concerns.
- Will ther be more than one group?
That depends on how many people are interested.
- Will there be a men's group, a women's group, a group of men and women?
Again, that will depend on who indicates an interest.
- When will the group meet?
When you sign up, you'll be asked to indicate your preference.
- Where will the group meet?
It can meet in someone's home or at the church.
- If I am interested, what do I do?
You may sign up in the church's fellowship hall, or call the pastor at 901.755.3884.
- If I have questions, what do I do?
You may call either the pastor (William Warren) or the Director of Christian Education (Claudette Pickle) at 901.755.3884.
Sunday Night Happenings
Sunday Night Happenings are for all children and youth, and begin with a meal at 5:00 p.m. Following the meal, we all participate in a
group activity, then proceed to our rooms for a period of learning.
